Can You Take Tadalafil With Enalapril Together?

Often times we experience different conditions or illnesses that may cause us to take a combination of drugs. For men suffering erectile dysfunction, combining ED meds, such as tadalafil 20 mg, with other drugs may pose dangerous drug reactions. Doctors would usually weigh on the benefits as well as the risks of taking a combination of drugs depending on your current health conditions. Most of the time, however, combining your ED drugs with other medications are prohibited.

One of the drugs which you cannot combine with tadalafil 20 mg is enalapril. Enalapril is a type of antihypertensive drug used for treating hypertension or high blood pressure, as well as congestive heart failure. The angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor is also a medication for ventricle disorders. Ventricles are found at the heart’s lower chambers which serve as the exit path of the blood from the heart. The effect of the ACE inhibitor can decrease the heart’s activity in pumping out too much blood throughout the body, thus lowering your chance for high blood pressure.
